8 Bee-Friendly Flowers Good For Bees’ Health!

To have a small pollinator garden with bee-friendly flowers is always nice, for the bees and for people too. We are familiar with the fact that the bee population is facing risk, mostly because of the use of pesticides. So, this is why it is important to have some flowers that are not treated with pesticides, planted on our own. The following bee-friendly flowers are the ones you should have if you are a beekeeper. They will provide healthy food for your bees

when they will need it the most. If you want a pollinator-friendly garden you should plant these bee-friendly flowers:

Sunflower

Sunflowers have a lot of pollen and bees just adore this! Their beautiful flowers are an amazing landing pad for the bees. Moreover, they are unbelievably beautiful and will make your garden even more delightful. Also, you can use the delicious sunflower’s seeds and its petals which are edible. They have also a medicinal use.

Sedums

Sedums are good for your bees in various ways. Firstly, they grow somewhere at the end of summer. With this, they are affording the worker bees to save some food for the following winter. Furthermore, their flowers are growing low, so they are convenient for the bees to reach.

Lavender

Lavenders are bees’ friends because they have a long blooming season. This makes them an important staple for the bees all summer long. They are also rich in nectar, which is perfect for the bees. Of course, they are perfect for your garden too, as they have their recognizable gorgeous flowers.

Mint

Lantana

Even though this is a plant with very small clusters, they are not to be underestimated. They are a great source of pollen and nectar and they easily attract bees.
