The documentary “Honeyland” entered the shortlist for an Oscar nomination in two categories – Documentary Feature and International Feature Film. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced shortlists in consideration for the 92nd Academy Awards in nine categories.
This amazing documentary is one of the 15 films that will advance in the Documentary Feature category, out of 159 candidates for the category. In the International Feature Film category, “Honeyland” is among the top 10 films that will advance to the next round of voting, out of 91 candidates.
Nomination voting will begin on January 2nd, 2020 and it will last until January 7th, 2020. The announcement of the final nominations will be on January 13th, 2020.
The date set for the 92nd Oscars is Sunday, February 9th, 2020.
