Honey in Our Medicine Cabinet

Honey truly is something! This bees‘ product is definitely amazing and finds many uses. Here are some of the reasons why we should keep it in our medicinal cabinet:

Cough

If you mix equal parts of vinegar and honey, plus adding a small amount of lemon, you will deal with the cough much better. Drink it every 3-4 hours.

Arthritis

When used over some time, a combination of honey and vinegar has an alkalinizing effect that works in soothing the pain and inflammation of arthritis. This mixture can have internal or external use.

Cuts

No antibiotic cream helps with cuts as well as honey. Just apply some small amount of it beneath the bandage.

Immunity improvement

The everyday use of at least one teaspoon of honey really improves the immune system. This is because it increases B and T lymphocytes which are two cellular components of the immune system.

Conjunctivitis (pink eye)

To deal with conjunctivitis and heal it with honey, you only need warm water and honey. Combine equal parts from both and stir well, for the mixture to combine. When it cools, use it as a simple eyewash. Please note that this mixture might sting a little, but there is nothing to worry about.

Insomnia

Only one spoon of honey before bed can provide a good night’s sleep.

Allergies

In order to prevent or decrease the symptoms, you only need a teaspoon of raw honey a day. This is nice and also sweet practice before your symptoms often appear.

Sore throat

Take just one teaspoon of honey, or add it to your warm tea. This will provide you with a feeling of quick relief from the unpleasant sore throat.

Diaper rash

Honey is truly amazing for kids’ diapers rash. You just apply a small amount of it on the area and leave the kids without the diaper on for a while.

Leg cramps

A combination of honey and vinegar increases circulation and prevents leg cramps. Rub this mixture on the legs before bed.
