Organic farmers are the best for the bees! They use all natural resources for growing their crops. They do not use insecticides which are so deadly for the bees. One step forward in the battle of saving the bees is the support we can give to those kinds of farmers. Go to your local Farmer’s Market, meet and support the people who do such an amazing job growing healthy crops. In fact, buying these organic products, will not only benefit the bees, but also the local farmers, environment and ourselves!
Adopt a beehive
You should ask your local beekeepers or associations to see if they offer the possibility to adopt a beehive. If you do not feel ready to become a beekeeper, but you still want to help and save the bees, this is one thing you can do! Make sure that you practice organic gardening yourself
One very important thing to this matter is our own carefulness. We need to make sure that we use only certified organic seeds. The same goes for weed-killers and insect repellents.

DO NOT put honey out to feed bees!
If you really think that they need to be fed, just put some sugar water out for them. They will use it to feed the hive.
While sugar water has been used for years, it has a couple of draw backs, It can find its way into your honey super and contaminate the natural honey, It also contains no trace elements so it tends to lower the quality of the bee food.There are recipes around to make your own balanced bee feed and there are some good, but a little expensive bee feed supplements that you can buy.
Has anyone any comment about using the syrup obtained from tapping the flower spathe of coconut or other, e.g. kitul, palm species? These are commonly tapped for the production of toddy and arrack. Would be less expensive than feeding bees honey. Also, maple syrup? I do not know how expensive that may be. Thanks.
